I’ve been playing for a while and always got skins through cases, but I can’t tell which ones are worth anything. Sometimes I see people trade stuff that looks basic to me, but it turns out they’re expensive. I don’t want to waste what I have, but it’s hard to know where to start. How do you figure out what’s trash and what’s not?

The biggest thing I learned was how float values and patterns affect price more than just the look. It’s not as obvious until you read about what buyers care about. I stumbled across this page while reading about sticker placement on Reddit, and someone casually dropped the link https://dmarket.com/cs2-wiki/. Didn’t expect much, but I kept reading for almost an hour. Helped me figure out which skins in my inventory actually had trade value, and which were just taking up space.
