In my experience, Push Notifications and Pop-Under ads tend to perform really well for antivirus offers. Push ads are super effective because they look like system alerts, which fits naturally with the “security” theme of antivirus products. They grab attention quickly, especially on mobile, and if your message is urgent—like “Your device may be at risk”—the CTR can be solid.
Pop-Unders work well too, especially for desktop traffic. When a user closes or clicks something, your landing page appears underneath. It’s a bit old-school, but for antivirus ads, it still works because you get more time to explain the benefits on a full page.
I’ve been running my campaigns through 7Search PPC, and what I really like is that it allows detailed targeting—like OS, device, and even browser—so I can fine-tune everything for antivirus traffic. The platform’s push and pop inventory has actually helped me keep the ROI decent.
Just a tip: always test your landing pages. The creatives matter, but a clean, fast-loading LP with clear CTAs is where conversions really happen.
