Extending the piano to 8 beats and switching up the chord progression sounds like a great idea—I’ll definitely try that to break the repetition.
Moving the second drumstick hit to beat 2 makes a lot of sense now that you pointed it out. I can already imagine it flowing better.
I didn’t realize how much the bass was overpowering the vocals, so I’ll work on dialing it back with some EQ cuts.
I’ll also simplify the bass pattern—totally agree that the clash with the vocals makes it feel a bit messy.
As for the faster-paced section, I appreciate the tip! I’ll add a bassline to fill out the low end there.
And thanks for the suggestion about the ending! I’ll rework that part—good call on mirroring the intro without the buildup.
