How does the verification stuff work
suggestions & advice from me, sorry if the huge feature request list is overwhelming but yknow no rush or urgency rly lol
- look into getting a custom domain cuz https://fnfansite.editorx.io/fridaynightfansite is a handful. i imagine this is a premium feature, dunno if you have a premium plan BUT it should come with a voucher to get a free domain.
- if you're not on a premium plan i would also be VERY careful with storage space. i can't find any exact specifications on what's included in the free plan but i imagine it's not much. even with 20GB+ space i would be very careful, if you were planning on raising the upload limit i would honestly recommend against doing so because that's gonna fill up INSANELY fast with how big some mod downloads tend to be.
- if ppl get too pissy about elitism with "Verified" stuff perhaps consider changing it to "Genuine" or "Official" since it carries the same meaning without as much stigma lol. and also it could contain some kinda link to where you can actually see how they verified.
- since the rules mention respecting ppls pronouns, it would be great if ppl could add a pronoun flair that appears next to their name, or can be hovered over! a 20-ish character field would probably be best for this
- currently, if you sign up with a google account, your profile URL is automatically set to your email handle. to avoid ppl accidentally doxing themselves, it might be best to just generate some garbled string instead.
- allow for mp3/ogg streaming instead of just downloading
- might be a tall order since idk how much the NG api allows you to do in terms of this auth stuff, but it'd be cool if you could sign up with newgrounds as well.
